My JOY is His JOY...
Growing up especially as a child wasn't easy. The love I was supposed to receive turned into sexual abuse. All through the sexual, physical and verbal abuse, Jesus was with me but I didn't know it.
Each year it seemed to get harder for me because other men were abusing me too. When I fell in love and got married, my husband who I adored began to abuse me and he caused so much hurt in my life. Thoughts of suicide just kept tormenting me most of my life because of all the abuse that I had suffered.
I know now, I couldn't have made it in this earthly life if it wasn't for Jesus Christ. He is real - don't ever doubt it. Only He can set us free!
Thank you Jesus for your love, your friendship and comfort when I needed it most. Praise you my sweet Jesus for setting me free from my thoughts of suicide and giving me your JOY.
